Rubi
A Framer plugin that puts a reading above a word on your published site — furigana over kanji, pinyin over 汉字, a pronunciation over any name. The browser has always supported it; the editor has no field for it.
|陰影《いんえい》と|余白《よはく》だけ。{Seoul|서울}
|陰影《いんえい》と|余白《よはく》だけ。{Seoul|서울}
One click. No code. Every page, including CMS text, and it follows page transitions.
Nothing is guessed. No dictionary lookup, no external request, nothing is tracked.
4.6 KB added to your site.
It opens the line a little, so the reading never collides with the line above.

Write a reading once and it appears everywhere on the site — no need to edit each text layer.
Ruby under the line, muted colours, and readings that appear only on hover.

How do I write a reading?
In any Framer text layer, type |東京都《とうきょうと》 — the bar marks where the reading starts. Without the bar, Rubi takes the kanji run immediately before. If you cannot type full-width characters, {Seoul|서울} works too. That is the whole syntax.
Does it send my text anywhere?
No. There is no network call in the script at all. It reads the text already on the page and rewrites it into <ruby> markup in the browser. Readings are inserted as text, never as HTML.
Will it break my other custom code?
No. Rubi writes only inside its own marked block and removes only that block, leaving any other code in the same slot untouched.
What happens to the licence key?
It is stored in your browser only, never in shared project data, and it is verified locally with a public key — no licence server, nothing to go down.
